Mahoro Shimano carries this Emitter power, which reaches the screen in the film My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising. Whatever she pictures, she can throw into the air as a visual double, and her larger projections stay readable from a considerable distance.

She treats the ability as toy and tool at once. It fuels her pranks, it bluffs away anyone who threatens her, and it doubles as a flare when she needs to call for help.

None of what she conjures carries physical weight. The images leave their surroundings untouched and cast no shadow, which is the tell that exposes them. Enough force blows them apart, and they wink out entirely the instant her concentration breaks.

Since the projections cannot make contact, the Quirk offers no way to attack directly. Its reach also depends on the audience: viewers who are hard to rattle, Katsuki Bakugo and Nine among them, barely slow down for the illusions.
