Traject

Traject is the Emitter Quirk carried by the Pro Hero Kido, listed at close range because the effect is anchored to the bandages he wears rather than projected outward. It arrives in Chapter 261 and is adapted in Episode 115, though the ability only gets a formal name later, in Chapter 276 and Episode 119.

Anything that travels through Kido's bandages has its path handed over to him. He decides which way it continues, which makes the power a redirection tool rather than a source of raw force: the energy comes from somebody else, and Kido only supplies the new heading. Objects, people, and attacks all qualify, so long as they cross the cloth.

Kido alone uses Traject. His first showing has him catch Endeavor's Hellflame and turn it onto a Nomu, and he later applies the same trick to Endeavor himself, hurling the Hero skyward during the clash with Tomura Shigaraki. By the Final War he has refined it into a defensive measure, protecting himself against Dabi and revealing that years spent working alongside Endeavor taught him how to shrug off punishing heat through Traject.
