Born with a power she never wanted and could not switch off, Anna Scervino spent her life locked away with a butler whose Quirk was the only thing keeping her from hurting everyone near her. The mafia that murdered her father wanted that power for itself, and took her to get it.
Light peach hair falls to her waist, framing pale blue eyes. Her dress runs long-sleeved in mixed pinks and whites, finished with a red bow at the chest and another in her hair, plus a pink band worn close around her throat.
Her Quirk marks her visibly. Every activation darkens her hair upward from the roots, the black creeping until it takes over completely, and only Giulio's total neutralization of the power restored the original color. The anime later places her among evacuees at U.A.'s residential district in a plain white dress with wide, frilled sleeves, and eight years past the Final War she appears in a new pink one.
Fear and grief define most of what is seen of her. Her power hurts her constantly and the Gollini Family hunted her for it, which drove her toward desperate exits: recruiting a villain to get her out, and asking Giulio to kill her before the Quirk consumed what was left of her. Giulio recalls her childhood as an emotionless, isolated stretch.
It had not always been that way. While her father lived and before the mafia took her, she was cheerful and easily delighted, particularly around Giulio, and she could turn playfully petulant when he declined to sit and drink tea with her. Losing her father and the rest of her family to the Gollini left her traumatized, with lasting post-traumatic stress and a deep aversion to violence.
Rescue restored her. With Giulio returned to her life and the Quirk finally silenced, her earlier optimism came back.
Overmodification alters the Quirk of anyone in contact with her, provided their body is compatible with it. For that minority it amplifies what they already have and can grant abilities they never possessed. Everyone else, and the incompatible vastly outnumber the compatible, gets a sharp stabbing pain that briefly puts them down.
The power never turns off, which is the heart of her problem. Anyone carrying a Quirk Factor risks agony from the slightest touch, and the strain eventually racks her with seizures and severe pain of her own. Left unmanaged it spreads, worsening its effects and widening its reach, and it drives compatible users' powers to escalate beyond their control. She reached Quirk Singularity in adulthood, and the damage that visited on a country already broken by the Paranormal Liberation War was without precedent.
Containment fell entirely to her butler, Giulio Gandini, whose Neutralization held it down and forced her into a life of isolation with him for company. That arrangement was what Valdo Gollini and his family sought to exploit when they abducted her. It ended when Giulio's strengthened Neutralization erased her Quirk Factor for good, leaving her effectively Quirkless.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Anna Scervino is a young woman born with a Quirk she never wanted, one that hurt everyone she touched. After the mafia killed her father, the Gollini Family abducted her to exploit her power, and she spent much of her life confined with her butler, Giulio Gandini, who kept the ability contained.
Yes, Anna Scervino ultimately loses her Quirk. Giulio Gandini's strengthened Neutralization erased her Quirk Factor for good, leaving her effectively Quirkless and finally free of the pain her power caused her.
Anna Scervino is voiced by Meru Nukumi in Japanese and by Kayli Mills in the English dub.
Anna Scervino's Quirk, Overmodification, alters the Quirk of anyone she touches whose body is compatible, amplifying their power or granting new abilities. Everyone else instead feels a sharp stabbing pain, and the Quirk never turns off, which eventually caused her seizures and severe pain of her own.
The Gollini Family murdered Anna Scervino's father and abducted her because they wanted to exploit her Overmodification Quirk. Valdo Gollini held her captive until she was ultimately rescued.
