Bell Asui

Bell's face broadens toward the jaw and finishes in a mouth that stretches unusually wide. Round eyes sit far apart above it, fringed with long lashes on the upper lids, and her nose is small and set very high. Pink marks on her cheeks are a fixture, suggesting she flushes easily. Her dark hair is long and arranged much the way Tsuyu wears hers, and the overall effect is froggish, which holds true for the whole family. She dresses plainly, in a purple sweater over a turtleneck of a deeper shade, buttoned at her left shoulder.

The story shows Bell mainly through her family, and what it shows is trust. She and Ganma are away for work often enough that Tsuyu runs the household and minds Samidare and Satsuki while they are gone, an arrangement Bell is plainly at ease with, and the bond between mother and eldest daughter reads as a warm one.

Bell met Ganma Asui at some point and had three children with him: Tsuyu, Samidare, and Satsuki. Because both parents work away from home, responsibility for the household falls to Tsuyu whenever they are out.

After the Paranormal Liberation War, chaos spread wide enough to throw the country into total disarray, and the family was forced into an evacuation center for safety. Tsuyu left to join the heroes against the army All For One leads in the Final War. From that shelter Bell followed the fighting on a live broadcast, including the decisive clash in which Izuku Midoriya faced Tomura Shigaraki, and watched in astonishment as Tsuyu and Mezo Shoji carved Izuku a path through the villain's barrage of attacks, her younger children cheering their sister on.

Her first anime appearance came in an OVA, and her earliest manga showing arrived in a bonus chapter set apart from the main run, but Chapter 422 stands as her official manga debut.
