Appearance

A lion's head crowns Big Red Dot's powerful frame, and webbing seems to run between his toes.

His hero costume runs to a sleeveless wetsuit in light blue, belted with a design that suggests moving water. Guards sheathe his forearms to the elbow, the Singaporean flag rides on each shoulder pad, and a small domino mask covers little of anything.

Personality

Loyalty defines him. He treats his friends with warmth, All Might among them, and comes across as fair-minded and decent in his dealings. Holding the number one spot in Singapore suggests a man with the resolve to put himself in harm's way for other people, which fits everything else known about him.

That instinct cuts both ways. Barred from joining the relief effort in Japan, he could not hide his frustration at being made to stand still.

History

After the anti-Quirk group Humarise killed thousands by detonating a Trigger Bomb in a populated city, the World Heroes Association mounted a coordinated global raid on every branch the organization held. Big Red Dot drew the Singapore Task Force, sharing it with Majestic, who had brought along the two students working under him, Setsuna Tokage and Momo Yaoyorozu. They fought their way in and took the building, but the bombs were not there and Flect Turn was not there either. Every other raid came back the same, and the WHA left each force on alert in its assigned country.

Humarise then seized the world's telecommunications to announce that Trigger Bombs sat in twenty-five named cities and would fire inside two hours, a broadcast built to bait heroes into a trap. Panic spread across all twenty-five countries and the WHA turned its heroes loose. Sector by sector, they tore into the sleeper agents guarding the devices. Big Red Dot found his and used Tidal Bore to hurl it far above the city so any detonation would happen clear of the population, while Momo held off the agents trying to reach him. The heroes in Otheon defused the rest and broke Flect Turn and his command, and the surviving members were rounded up.

The Dark Hero Arc found him grounded. All For One had broken out of Tartarus and emptied several more maximum-security prisons, Gigantomachia had wrecked what remained, heroes were resigning under public criticism, and Japan slid into anarchy. All Might sent an emergency appeal abroad, and Big Red Dot pressed to answer it alongside Salaam, only for his own government to refuse, needing him at home to hold Singapore together. He stayed there through the Final War as well, following the broadcasts as the heroes fought All For One and Tomura, until Izuku Midoriya finally brought the latter down.

A week after that, with reconstruction accelerating again, he finally arrived in Japan with heroes from Singapore and elsewhere to supply rescue and rebuilding support. Asked about it by a reporter, he said that after watching a fight like that one, sitting back and doing nothing was not an option.
