Dozaemon

Appearance

His face reads as a skull. It is white and noseless, the sockets sunken above grooves beneath the eyes, and the lower jaw is tucked under the upper so a lipless spread of teeth sits open across it. Blue eyes with white pupils and red markings over the cranium finish the effect, and gold plating like armor wraps the entire lower portion of his head.

He is tall and heavily muscled, wearing a full-body black wetsuit padded at the shoulders, grey gloves and armored boots. His belt repeats the design of his face.

Personality

He opened by counseling care, reminding the others that nobody knew what the U.A. students could do. Patience was never really his nature, though. Worn down by the wait, he eventually struck the stranded boat first, tired of holding off on killing Izuku Midoriya and the classmates aboard it.

He does understand his own element. He told his associates outright that in the water, the students' Quirks left them badly outmatched, and he was confident the fight was theirs.

History

Water Control puts water under his command, and he uses it for a range of attacks, sharpening it into claws or sending it at an opponent as a heavy torrent.

He was among the seventy or so villains Tomura Shigaraki gathered for the League of Villains' raid on the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, and he went with the group sent to the Flood Zone, where such Quirks counted for most. Kurogiri dropped Izuku into the water there. The villains surrounded the boat but would not board it, ignorant of what the students could do, and Dozaemon warned Bye-Bites in particular against rushing in, though he never doubted they would win. That hesitation gave Izuku the time to work out an escape. When impatience finally moved him to strike the ship, he and the others settled in to wait for it to sink so they could finish the job, and Izuku sprang his plan instead: Delaware Smash against the surface tore open a whirlpool that dragged the villains in, Minoru's Pop Off filled the water with sticky spheres that glued them together, and Tsuyu carried Izuku and Minoru out with Frog while the rest were left helpless. Arrest followed for Dozaemon and the entire recruited horde.

Years later, All For One and the other Tartarus escapees hit seven prisons across Japan and broke six of them open, and Dozaemon walked out with that wave. He rejoined his old boss for the attempt to capture Izuku and was warped into the parking lot at Troy to help, only for the heroes to spring a trap designed to divide the villains up. He came out at the aquarium on Okuto Island against a waiting horde of heroes, and was arrested there with the rest of them.
