Fuyumi Todoroki

Red-framed rectangular glasses sit over eyes that read turquoise in the manga and gray in the anime. Fuyumi stands about average height. Her white hair carries a scattering of crimson streaks and falls roughly to her shoulders, with side bangs cropped near her ears and a short clump left hanging over her forehead; she sometimes gathers it into a stubby ponytail.

Her usual outfit is a white dress shirt under a grayish peach cardigan with the sleeves pushed up past her elbows, navy blue jeans and brown dress shoes. Turtleneck sweaters appear often, and a pencil skirt occasionally replaces the trousers.

Stepping into the fight between Dabi and Endeavor during the Final War left her burned and scarred. Most of the damage heals, leaving three small marks: one above her nose, one on her right cheek, one across the left of her face. She cuts her hair to chin length afterwards. Eight years on the scars remain, the fringe is gone, and her rectangular lenses have been swapped for round ones.

Warmth and worry define Fuyumi. She loves her family without reservation and stepped into a mothering role for Shoto while Rei was absent, and she keeps easy relationships with both younger brothers and with her mother, whom she visits regularly at the Fujitani Hospital ward. She teases, too, needling Natsuo about the girlfriend he was hiding at college.

Her brothers' open resentment toward Enji is not something she shares, though she admits to feeling it herself at times. She would rather get along with him if it moves the family somewhere better, and his shifting attitude alongside Shoto's repaired bond with Rei gave her real hope. Anything that happens to any of them frightens her: she was horrified by Enji's injuries after his battle with Hood, visibly panicked when Shoto returned from the rescue of Katsuki Bakugo, and went frantic on hearing that Ending had taken Natsuo.

Beneath the optimism sits guilt. She never shook the sense that she could do nothing for Shoto, which is what pushed her into teaching in the first place, and she concedes that fear of her father's abuse kept her doing little more than maintaining the picture of a happy household, and that she therefore shares some blame for what became of Toya. She still chose to stand with the family behind Enji when the time came to stop the villain her older brother had become.

Fuyumi inherited Frost from her mother, an ice Quirk she can both coat herself in and blast outward, though she has none of the combat training or technique that her father and brothers do. She cooks superbly, well enough that Katsuki Bakugo took her mapo tofu recipe and mocked Shoto by comparison, and she has handled every meal in the Todoroki household since the family's maid retired with an injured back. Having spent years teaching at an elementary school, she is presumably good at putting basic subjects across to children.

Her bravest moment comes in the Final War, when she goes with Rei and Natsuo to confront Dabi as he pours out a lethal inferno and edges toward self-destruction. Sheathing herself in ice to reach him, she helps her mother and brother divert the explosion, telling Toya that another loss is more than she can stand and begging him not to drag everyone into his end. The three of them wrestle enough control over the blast for Shoto to put it out entirely with Great Glacial Aegir, charged by Phosphor. He admitted later that without his family behind him, Dabi might well have detonated.
