Ichiro Hotta

Standing at roughly average height, Ichiro is built much like his twin Jiro: tanned skin, pale brown hair, a light goatee, eyes that are sharp with pupils small and black, and a small bump raised mid-forehead. The differences are subtle. His jaw is squarer, his hair a shade lighter and thinning, and he keeps no mustache.

Clothing separates the two more reliably. Ichiro goes for a green hoodie with black pants and white sneakers, plus a red cap bearing a green cricket logo that he always turns backwards, which conveniently covers the balding. Over the hoodie he ties on the shop apron, white and printed with the store name, and a yellow bandanna sits at his neck. That bandanna is the one thing he wears that survives a transformation intact.

Using his Quirk, which normally means injecting Trigger first, reshapes him into a grasshopper in humanoid form. He gains bulk, insect-like quinine plating armors sections of him, and his head takes on jaws, antennae and compound eyes. In that state nothing tells the twins apart. Post-timeskip, the hair is gone entirely and he wears the Hopper's Cafe waiter uniform.

Dealers though they are, Ichiro and Jiro draw a line at the Villain Factory's Trigger, since they know the stuff is cut with uppers. Their own product is the ordinary legal formulation, aimed at balding and erectile dysfunction, and they take genuine pride in that distinction, notwithstanding that selling it without a license remains a crime.

Outsiders meddling in the operation is what sets them off, because it obstructs what they consider an honest racket. Shota Aizawa is the chief offender, treating the shop as an improvised hideout and a place to meet Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi, and when it is not him it is Koichi Haimawari. The brothers find it endlessly aggravating and would rather everyone cleared out so they could get on with business.

They look after their own regardless. Both warned their friend Kirihito Kamachi off the adulterated Trigger because of the damage it caused, and neither hesitated to back Shota against Ikajiro Takobe. Both are also Midnight fans.

Grasshopper, boosted with Trigger, converts Ichiro into a large humanoid grasshopper. He and Jiro carry a sample of their merchandise as standard equipment and dose themselves whenever a threat appears. Because it is the legal version the boost is weaker than the adulterated stuff, but it costs them no cognitive decline in exchange.

The brothers fight as a pair. Double Hotta Kick has them spring up, flip and land a simultaneous kick. Hotta Jump lifts them above an opponent's head, useful for launching a strike or simply for pulling focus.
