Appearance

Orange hair reaches past her shoulders and is usually bound into a tail high off her left temple, with three separate clumps of fringe hanging around her eyes and stray tufts standing up on top. Those eyes are teal and white-pupilled, shaped with a sharpness her rounded features soften. She stands at middling height on a slim frame.

Her original costume centers on a teal qipao cut to the knee and trimmed in yellow, worn under a black double-breasted corset that stops just below the chest, with black shorts beneath the dress. A loose brown utility belt carries two long canisters, a slim black domino mask sits over her eyes, and navy boots with white heels run down to her toes. Cold weather swaps the qipao for a version with sleeves to the wrist.

Eight years past the Final War her arms have thickened with muscle and the tail sits higher and shorter, curling at the tip. The costume is largely unchanged, gaining a darker teal pattern, a reworked corset, and gold wristbands.

Personality

Itsuka is lively and reliably considerate, though never soft about it. She calls out her own classmates when she thinks they are behaving badly, which is why Neito Monoma so often takes a karate chop to the neck before he can start needling Class 1-A. When she judges that someone deserves a chance more than she does, she hands it over, standing aside so Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu and Ibara Shiozaki could take her team's place in the Sports Festival tournament. Tetsutetsu credits her good cheer with holding 1-B together and calls her the big sister of the class.

That warmth extends past her own classroom. Unlike most of her classmates she carries no grudge against Class 1-A, and she worries about people she barely knows. Izuku Midoriya and Tenya Ida both had her sympathy once she heard what Stain had done to them, and she bent the rules to tip Class 1-A off about the practical portion of their final exam.

Put her in a fight and the analysis takes over. She read how Mustard's fumes moved, likened the motion to a tornado, and reasoned backward to where he had to be standing.

Abilities

Itsuka placed fifth on U.A.'s entrance exam, earning 40 rescue points alongside 25 villain points, and she handles Big Fist with real command. The Quirk grows both hands to enormous size and scales her striking and gripping power with them. She punches through most defenses outright, surprises anyone unfamiliar with the power by expanding at the last instant, and loads her blows with the momentum of that expansion. The oversized hands matter outside combat too: they carry people, pin opponents, suit rescue work, and can briefly shield whoever is wrapped inside them from poisoned air.

She proved herself against Mustard, a villain running with the Vanguard Action Squad, fighting beside Tetsutetsu. She held the gas user off and generated enough wind with her enlarged hands to clear his toxin away, opening the path for Tetsutetsu to finish him and letting the pair fight unmasked. The Joint Training Battle put her skill on display against Momo Yaoyorozu, a recommended student, where technique plus Quirk-fed strength overran Momo's defenses and shattered shields built from tungsten. Momo caught her briefly with a cannon, but Itsuka still put her down with Double Jumbo Fist, which lands with hands at normal size and triggers the Quirk an instant before contact to maximize damage.

Her intellect is rated A-class and it earns the grade. For the Joint Training she weighed every teammate into a layered plan: Shihai Kuroiro would seize Dark Shadow away from Fumikage Tokoyami, since she knew it would be sent out scouting and that nobody would expect her side to hijack it. Her fallback was just as considered, because forcing the enemy to use light against Shihai would cripple Dark Shadow and expose their position. She also had Manga Fukidashi's Comic split Momo off from the others, having identified her as the opposing strategist. Shoto Todoroki spotted the hole: if Momo was the real threat, the whole team should have buried her at the opening bell, which implies Itsuka left her standing because she wanted that fight herself. Her side won anyway, but the choice shows she remains capable of impulsive, risky calls.
