Miyashita

Middle-aged, Miyashita had a round head carrying distinctly rodent features. Circular ears sat on either side of it. His eyes were beady, dark and small, and a short muzzle finished in a little animal nose. His dark hair was cropped and swept forward, filling the space around and between those ears.

Office dress covered the rest of him. A white shirt, a pale blazer over it, and a dark tie.

Blunt and honest with his employer to a degree few would risk, Miyashita joked with Rikiya regularly and once made fun of the size of the man's forehead in one of the company's commercials. Rikiya let it pass with a laugh, long since accustomed to hearing whatever crossed his employee's mind.

His family was gone. By his own account his mother had died a year earlier, leaving him no other relatives.

Miyashita worked at the Detnerat Company. During the Meta Liberation Army Arc he brings Rikiya the rough cut of a second commercial, the one announcing Detnerat's move into hero support gear, and the two talk over the company's chances in that market. Miyashita points out how much ground there is to make up given how new they are to it. Rikiya counters that Detnerat at least leads in Meta Ability goods, a phrase that confuses Miyashita, so Rikiya corrects it to Quirks and produces his own copy of Destro's book, the Meta Liberation War.

Miyashita had read it. His verdict: the author had been a terrorist, his actions unjustified, and innocent people died because of them. The literary style he writes off as pretentious.

Rikiya wraps his arms around him without warning and starts asking after his relatives. The answer, that his mother is dead, comes while the grip closes on his neck. Squeezing, Rikiya tells him how disappointing the opinion is, and that he had been thinking of introducing him to his colleagues in the Meta Liberation Army. The pleading that follows changes nothing. His boss snaps his neck, and the body drops to the floor. Afterward Rikiya is shown weeping. Miyashita never appears in the anime.
