Oji Harima

Harima looked closer to a jester than to a criminal. Make-up covered his face, dark on the lips and around the eyes with the brows painted in, and an orange bandana crossed his forehead beneath dark maroon hair that spiked out at the sides. He dressed in a white kimono shirt bearing a black sign on the back, cinched under a wide black belt with a blue and white striped shirt showing beneath it. Loose light trousers with narrow dark stripes tucked into maroon boots that reached his calves, and long bracelets sat on both forearms.

Little survives of the man himself beyond what his crimes say about him. He robbed rich heroes and put the proceeds back into ordinary hands, a philosophy cut from the same cloth as Robin Hood's.

Harima operated during the era in which the hero system was still bedding in, and he aimed at the heroes drawing profit from it. He preached reformation while he worked, returning what he pilfered to people on the street, which earned him the name Peerless Thief. That record placed him among the era's great villain figures, spoken of beside All For One, whose grip on the criminal underworld was firm enough to let him take on All Might, and Destro, whose terrorist military held off several governments for years.

Nothing is recorded about his Quirk or his abilities, and the comparison to those two is the only measure available. What his descendants inherited was the cause rather than the power: every member of the line after him was raised to fight corruption and drag injustice into the open. His great-great-grandson is Atsuhiro Sako.

The kanji of his surname can be read as a homophone for the redemption and redistribution of money, matching his motivation, while his given name hints at European heritage and doubles as a homophone for prince.
