Sasori Nimaru

Sasori's red hair reaches her shoulders and gets bound up with a purple cord into a ponytail sculpted to curl like a scorpion's tail. She favors a white top with striped sleeves running long down the arms, its V-neck collar split so that one half reads black. A white pencil skirt and fishnet stockings patterned in red spider webs finish the silhouette. Two black dots appear on both the top and the skirt, the signature she stamps on her designs.

The spinoff shows Sasori through her output rather than her temperament, and no scene gives her dialogue or a mood to read. What the work testifies to is a designer with a fixed identity: the scorpion motif she wears in her own hair, the paired dots she brands onto her garments, and a reputation strong enough that a rival costume designer recognizes her hand on sight.

Her climb through the fashion world eventually made her prominent enough that hero clients came calling, and costume commissions followed. Two of those pieces belong to Katsuki Bakugo and Ochaco Uraraka.

Her standing surfaces during Katsuki's internship under Best Jeanist, when a trip to a fashion show puts him beside Aoni, the designer attached to that hero. Aoni spots Sasori's hand in Katsuki's costume immediately and notes that her schedule never has room to spare. Her given name translates to scorpion, matching the tail she wears, and Kohei Horikoshi drew up her design personally.
