Appearance

Waist-length black hair, glossy and worn loose, drops into a neat fringe over Tomoyasu's eyes, which sit wide with tiny gray irises. Tall and lanky, he has a notably long nose above a broad mouth of very even teeth.

Black runs through his wardrobe: a long-sleeved turtleneck, a formal jacket layered over it, dark trousers below. For the Final War he switches to a jacket striped in white, a lighter turtleneck, and black pants.

Personality

Tomoyasu takes the Meta Liberation Army's creed seriously: people own their Quirks and should use them whenever and however they wish. Anyone still bound to the teachings of earlier generations strikes him as surplus to a liberated world with no Heroes and no Villains in it. His loyalty runs to Re-Destro personally, and even after the Army folded into the Paranormal Liberation Front he kept honoring his old commander's wishes.

Outside his commander's company he is stern and condescending. Failing to grasp a point instantly from the barest scraps of information sets him off, and it does not occur to him that the expectation is unfair; he once tore into Giran for repeating a question back at him, asking whether the broker was some kind of parrot.

He is not entirely without fellow feeling. He wanted Himiko Toga dead for killing Curious, his fellow Top Commander, and he passed Dabi word of Endeavor's location despite having no patience for the man's family grievances. Helping other villains suits him fine so long as it serves his own ends, which is how he came to assist All For One, content to spread liberation through whatever world the Demon Lord left standing.

In a fight he is cold and calculating, and psychological warfare is fair game. He sent duplicates of Twice after Twice himself, knowing exactly what clones did to the man's mind, then calmly ordered the puppets to break his arms. Himiko waking up again registered only as an annoyance, a matter of recalibrating how hard his dolls needed to hit. The dolls themselves are furniture to him, useful as chairs or laptop stands while he directs the rest from cover.

Failure terrifies him, and the possibility of it drags out something manic. His eyes bulge into crazed swirls and he starts muttering to himself that he has not failed. When Twice slipped away and Himiko lived, he became fixated on denying it, insisting to himself and to his superior that everything had gone to prediction, then throwing away the strategic safety his Quirk exists to provide by walking onto the front line in person.

Abilities

Anthropomorph: Tomoyasu takes any human-sized object, a desk or a refrigerator will do, and converts it into a startlingly lifelike double of a person of his choosing, which he then works like a puppet. Several can run at once, and nothing stops him from fielding multiple copies of the same face.

Control happens remotely through his laptop. He leans on a proprietary communications network of his own and transceivers built by Detnerat to keep the puppets precise from a distance.

Corporate Influence: His seat on the Feel Good, Inc. board let him bury every trace of the League and the Army in the wreckage of Deika City, invent a plausible cause of death for Curious, explain away Re-Destro's injuries, and keep the authorities from looking closer. Exposure cost him the position, and he seized the company's machinery back regardless.

Audio-Video Editing: Riding Gigantomachia's back toward the battlefield, he cut together footage of Hawks killing Twice and spliced it onto Dabi's confession broadcast, finishing before they arrived.

Hacking: He built his company's entire network, then walked back into every device after they fired him. He also broke U.A.'s systems open, throwing errors at the staff and moving a bunker against their will, and eventually seized both the evacuation shafts and the flying fortress itself, dropping the battered school out of the sky. La Brava is the one person who outclasses him, having cracked his servers twice.

Leadership and Tactics: As a Top Commander he helped run a force over 100,000 strong, and after its collapse he gathered scattered advisers and warriors back under Re-Destro's ideals. He also found uses for Twice's Double that Twice never would, proposing that the Supreme Commander be cloned as insurance, and weaponizing the man's own trauma to soften him up for capture.
