Hawks stands in the applauding crowd as Tomura is named Grand Commander, aware that he arrived too late to stop any of it. Admission had a price: Dabi unzipped the duffel bag holding Best Jeanist's body and welcomed him aboard, satisfied that the Winged Hero had killed somebody. Cataloguing what the Front now controls, the media reach, Detnerat's industry ties, fanatics willing to die, and High-End reserves, he concludes the villains rival the entire hero profession, and resolves to find the hidden backer before Japan ends.

Ujiko explains to Tomura that Decay has evolved to travel through whatever his target touches. The doctor's discarded Quirk Singularity theory, which held that abilities outpace the bodies carrying them, drew interest from nobody except All For One. Four months of agony will buy Tomura All For One itself, including the one power his benefactor never managed to take: One For All.

At U.A. the class shows off its work-study gains. Yuga cuts robots apart with the Navel Saber, Toru redirects his beam, Mina armors herself as Acidman, and pair after pair reports what their mentors drilled into them. Izuku ends the display with a broad spread of Blackwhip while Toshinori watches a student who no longer looks back at him. Later, Toshinori hands Izuku and Katsuki a notebook on the previous holders, minus the second and third. Katsuki reads that Blackwhip came from the fifth user, Daigoro Banjo, and argues that none of them wielded impressive Quirks, which prompts Toshinori to explain that the torch passed through the trusted rather than the chosen. Float, once Nana Shimura's, is named as Izuku's next target, to Katsuki's delight.

Elsewhere Eraser Head and Present Mic sit with the Oboro revelation, Eri's horn flares again, and Toshinori tells Aizawa he has decided to keep living. Hawks keeps chasing the keyword hospital while Ujiko cheerfully assures a nurse at Jaku General that his research is nearly finished. As spring break ends, every work-study is summoned to the same place on the same day.

Hawks completes his infiltration by faking Best Jeanist's murder, earning Dabi's grudging acceptance while privately preparing to warn Endeavor.

Doctor Ujiko lays out the Quirk Singularity theory and begins the four-month procedure that will hand Tomura All For One's arsenal.

Class 1-A demonstrates the results of the second round of work-studies, with Izuku now able to fire Blackwhip in multiple directions for roughly a second at a time.

Toshinori reveals Float as the next Quirk within One For All and shares his research notebook on the previous holders. Aizawa announces that Eri's training starts within the week.

Every work-study is folded into a single simultaneous expedition, and Burnin briefs the trainees on evacuation duty below the mountain as the Paranormal Liberation War begins.

The season finale pulls from Chapter 240, Chapter 246, Chapter 256, Chapter 257, and part of Chapter 258. Merry-Go-Round and Believe play for the last time.

Cut from the adaptation: Hawks eavesdropping via feather, the class eating cotton candy during the showcase, classmate reactions to Izuku and Ochaco thanking each other, Toshinori's closing lines, and Izuku spotting redacted passages in the notebook. Aizawa mentions the postponed Stain meeting at the start of his conversation rather than the end. New material includes Ujiko chatting with a nurse about his experiment and Hawks visiting Twice and the League, and the class learns about the shared trip outdoors beneath the sakura instead of inside Heights Alliance.

Tentacole turns up by mistake among those evacuating Jaku City, an error fixed for the home video release.
