Aizawa cuts off his own leg to stop the drug, Deku unlocks Float and drags Tomura into the sky, and a months-old conversation between Bakugo and All Might finally pays off. The title promise lands in the closing seconds, when Katsuki's body moves before his mind does.
Warned by Ryukyu, Aizawa has his blade out the instant the bullet lands. Thinking of Eri, he severs his own right leg without hesitating, halting the drug and holding Erasure steady, and even Tomura mutters admiration. The villain exploits the lull, tearing free of Blackwhip to rake Aizawa's face before Shoto arrives with a towering ice wall. Deku answers with a reinforced gut punch, but Aizawa's eyes have closed, and with Erasure gone Tomura's Super Regeneration starts stitching him back together.
News of the giant's rampage reaches the evacuation teams; Uraraka realizes every available hero is already committed and no one is left to intercept. At Gunga, the students survey the devastation, learning that Majestic spent himself flinging them clear. In custody, Garaki crows that the Nomu were all modeled on Gigantomachia, the demon king's perfect soldiers.
Tomura promises to end everyone, then his body splits open. Deku catches on before he does: the extraction was interrupted at seventy-five percent, so All For One's full weight is tearing him apart, exactly as One For All once tore at Deku. To deny him solid ground, Deku hauls him aloft using Blackwhip and, for the first time, Float, the Quirk of the seventh user, which Gran Torino recognizes as Nana's. He sets the wounded heroes down and takes the fight into the air alone.
Watching from below, Bakugo recalls a training day months earlier with All Might, Ochaco, Tsuyu and Sero, when Uraraka's Zero Gravity was quietly used to prepare Izuku for a Quirk nobody had named yet. He pressed All Might that night about the missing cause of death for the fourth user, and admitted, without quite saying it, that helping Izuku train is penance for the boy he used to bully.
In the present Deku unloads everything he has, smash after smash, until Bakugo calls it: this is attrition, and regeneration wins. His plan puts Endeavor into the air at the furthest reach of Blackwhip, and a PLUS ULTRA Prominence Burn incinerates the villain. Then charred limbs erupt as Rivet Stabs, dropping Endeavor, and something wearing Tomura's face murmurs little brother and lunges at Deku. Bakugo's body moves on its own, and the strike takes him in the chest.
Eraser Head amputates his own leg to contain the Quirk-Destroying Drug, then loses consciousness and with it Erasure, restoring Tomura's stolen Quirks. Deku deduces that the incomplete transfer is destroying Tomura's body and unlocks Float, the fourth confirmed Quirk within One For All after Blackwhip and Danger Sense are accounted for.
A flashback establishes that Bakugo already knew about One For All's growing complexity and had questioned All Might over the fourth user's redacted death. Endeavor's PLUS ULTRA Prominence Burn appears to kill Tomura, All For One's voice claims the body, and Rivet Stabs erupt from the corpse. Bakugo intercepts the attack aimed at Deku and is impaled.
Drawn from the back half of chapter 282 through chapter 285, the episode aired 26 November 2022 in Japan and 10 December in English.
The villa team's last clash with Gigantomachia is reworked: Sato saving Mineta is dropped, Komori and Kuroiro are absent, Fat Gum and Suneater confront the giant directly, Tokoyami's rescue work is expanded, Majestic's defeat is shown, and the Liberation soldiers trailing the rampage are omitted. Aizawa losing his eye gets extra weight, Mirko's evacuation is cut, and the manga's plain Prominence Burn is upgraded to the PLUS ULTRA variant. Immediately before the impalement, Bakugo pictures himself taking young Izuku's hand, echoing the cover of volume 29.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Katsuki Bakugo: Rising is Episode 122 of My Hero Academia, the ninth episode of season six. It adapts the back half of Chapter 282 through Chapter 285 and aired in Japan on November 26, 2022.
Eraser Head severs his own right leg to halt the drug's spread and hold his Erasure Quirk active, briefly stopping Tomura from regenerating. When Aizawa loses consciousness soon after, Erasure fails and Tomura's stolen Quirks and Super Regeneration return.
Izuku unlocks Float, the Quirk of One For All's seventh user, Nana Shimura. He combines it with Blackwhip to lift Tomura into the air and fight him away from solid ground.
After Endeavor's Prominence Burn appears to kill Tomura, a version of him speaking with All For One's voice erupts back to life and lunges at Deku. Bakugo's body moves on instinct to intercept the strike, and he is stabbed in the chest.
A flashback shows Bakugo already suspicious of One For All's complexity months earlier, having questioned All Might about the redacted cause of death of the Quirk's fourth user. It also reveals he sees helping train Izuku as a way of making up for bullying him as a child.
