With the Tiamat missiles inbound, Star and Stripe explains she cannot touch them while her air construct still holds the lasers pinning "Tomura", so the pilots keep firing to stall his Super Regeneration. On the count, the construct seizes the missiles, she releases the lasers and rewrites Tiamat's flight path, and the giant replica spins and drives a State-of-the-Art Hypersonic Intercontinental Cruise Punch into the villain with the warheads still in its fist. The blast carves a wide crater into the seabed.

He walks out of it, badly burned but alive. In the instant she let one of her two rules lapse to set the move up, "Tomura" used Decay to bury himself under the sea floor, and he had already thrown the Nomu ahead as bait for the pilots. He detonates that Nomu remotely with Radio Waves to scatter the jets, then hops from plane to plane toward her. Ethan begs her to crush his own aircraft and take the villain with it; she refuses, knowing regeneration would make the sacrifice worthless.

She accepts what comes, thinking of her squad. "Tomura" grabs her face and begins draining New Order while spreading Decay across her, and with All For One and Decay working at once she can neither halt her own disintegration nor shield her Quirk, having already spent her physical boost at its ceiling. Taking her early, with an unfinished body, was a gamble that paid: the world's strongest hero falls in one exchange, years ahead of his original schedule.

Then his body starts to rupture. Before he reached her, Star set one final rule: New Order would turn on Quirks themselves, and her vestige surfaces inside All For One's realm and begins eating everything stored there like a virus. With the pilots back in formation and firing, and nobody in reach to receive the ability, all he can do is convulse while his stockpile is shredded. Star's remains scatter on the wind. She thanks her bros, apologizes to Commander Agpar for the trouble, and thanks All Might, who saved her once and handed a girl a dream worth losing herself in, her arm and what is left of her head forming a salute as they dissolve. Ethan watches the ashes fall and calls her the greatest hero he ever knew, someone who genuinely surpassed All Might.

Sprouting Wings taken off the Nomu, "Tomura" shakes the jets and flees for the mainland, cursing All Might for ruining him again while hunting for anyone he can offload the rogue Quirk onto before he deteriorates completely. He plows into a derelict house and finds Kashiko Kashi, another Jailbreaker, planning to strip the man's Quirk and park New Order inside a Quirkless body. Star's fading vestige tells him it is futile, since New Order will destroy itself in the process, and warns that as long as people keep helping one another, someone with a hero's spirit will keep coming for him. The All For One half shrugs it off; survival is the only metric that counts. Tenko, buried inside, listens and says Izuku's name.

The villain vanishes beyond the heroes' reach. Star's death makes headlines worldwide the next day and freezes every offer of foreign aid as other nations turn inward to protect themselves. Ethan's crew later sits down with All Might and turns over a drive holding every scrap of biological and Quirk data their jets recorded. Analysis shows "Tomura" would have hit full completion within a day; the fight pushed it back to a week. All Might briefs Class 1-A on the shift, urging them to train while the pros handle evacuations and the hunt for the Paranormal Liberation Front's remnants, and admits he fears this becomes an outright war. His students tell him they never stopped training. Watching how far they have come, he decides All For One made a serious mistake picking this fight.

Star and Stripe is killed and New Order is stolen, concluding her battle with "Tomura Shigaraki".

Her final rule turns New Order against All For One's stockpile, destroying a large share of "Tomura's" Quirks, including Reflect and New Order itself.

"Tomura" steals Wing from the Near High-End Nomu and escapes to the mainland, where he fails to transfer New Order to Kashiko Kashi.

The completion of "Tomura's" body is delayed from one day to one week.

News of Star's death collapses all foreign assistance to Japan.

The seventh season's second episode, adapted from Chapters 332 through 334 and the first ten pages of Chapter 335. It closes the Star and Stripe Arc and opens the U.A. Traitor Arc.

The anime gives the young Yoichi flashback more room, extends Star's memories of her pilot squad, elaborates on her killer's escape from the jets, shows the analysis of the collected data, and adds Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist discovering Kashiko and his partner.
