Crabtastic Rampage!

The night before the raid, Naomasa lays out how the smugglers work: they slip their product into someone else's supply chain, box it with legitimate goods, and let ordinary deliveries carry it to buyers. Fat Gum points out how hard that is to trace but also how badly it loses money, which makes no sense to him. Naomasa agrees, citing Eizo's read that the operation runs deeper than it looks, and the hero grows uneasy, since a group not chasing profit is far harder to predict. Monika notes that this is precisely why the pair of them were called in, and the detective adds that catching them in the act would give a real lead on the outfit they are calling the Villain Factory.

At the warehouse Monika reports two Kanidoge trucks, two crab mechs with worker pilots unloading, and one more staffer on foot, then walks in playing the cheerful saleswoman with a story about a tracking error. She borrows their tablet and starts scanning barcodes. Every box looks identical and is packed tight for refrigeration, so guesswork is useless, but one scan beeps repeatedly. The tablet lists it as a super assortment D, a variety the company does not sell, marking it a special order. Inside she finds only crab, until she notices extra cooling packs, some black and oversized, and understands instantly. The remaining worker complains about the ruined package; she snaps her gun up and demands his name, and he claims to be a part-timer in shipping.

Monika knows every part-timer and calls the lie, radioing that the drugs ride in the cooling packs and that she has the buyer's address off the tablet. The man's face shifts: he is the Scarred Man, who compliments her deduction, triggers Overclock, and is gone in an instant with the tablet and her weapon. Fat Gum and the police burst in, and the villain admits he is not here to brawl, only to burn a compromised Trigger route before the network unravels. He reprograms the mechs' C.R.A.B. system, and the machines glow purple and shove Fat Gum to the back wall. Inside the mall, Kanidoge's carnival segment plays as a straight commercial, humiliating Pop, whose own mech then goes haywire as Koichi hears her scream.

Fat Gum pins the two mechs by the claws while Monika leaps from his head and cuts the pilots free with Snip Clip. One machine starts flashing red, and both then rise, walk to a shipping truck, and detonate, destroying the evidence. Naomasa keeps his eyes on the Scarred Man regardless, and the chase moves outside. Fat Gum scoops Monika up and runs for the venue, where the last mech is smashing through stalls. Koichi, buried in boxes, finds a rare All Might hoodie dropped on him by luck and slides in to cling to the machine's back, announcing himself as The Crawler: Tower to Heaven Edition to Pop's disgust. Outside, Naomasa deduces the villain is stalling and that Overclock has a cooldown, times a shot into his thigh, and the officers pin him, only for the Quirk to fire again and freeze the world around him. Noting they loaded rubber rounds, he takes their guns and hoses them all down at their body armor before limping away. In the mall, Fat Gum hurls Monika down the corridor to slice the mech's legs off with a Rocket Crab Clip; she frees Pop and calls the evacuation. Koichi grabs the girl after she slips, and Fat Gum body-slams the bomb, absorbing the blast before venting it and emerging scratched, torn and nearly fatless.

Afterward, Monika's handler admits he sent Pop and Koichi home, feeling responsible for dragging them into the mess, which frustrates the investigators who needed their statements. He does hand Naomasa a business card the pair left behind, and the detective grimaces at his little sister's name on it. On the train that night, Kazuho blushes over the rescue and Koichi's remark that she never backs down, turns to thank him, finds him asleep after another boxed lunch, and mutters that he is an idiot.

Monika identifies the smuggling method, Trigger hidden inside oversized black cooling packs, and recovers the buyer's address, giving the task force its first real thread on the Villain Factory.

The Scarred Man is exposed, demonstrates Overclock's full speed, destroys the evidence with rigged crab mechs, and disables the police squad with their own rubber rounds before escaping.

Fat Gum absorbs the final mech's explosion to protect Koichi and Pop, and Naomasa is left holding Makoto Tsukauchi's business card.

Adapted from Chapter 33 onward through Chapter 35. Eizo's assessment is staged as a short flashback rather than a speech bubble, and Monika cites only the website when listing assortments A through C, where the manga includes the catalog.

The Scarred Man's retaliation runs longer, with more officers shot and added closeups of the aftermath. a loose poster is what trips Pop as she flees the crab mech, a detail the manga leaves unspecified, and the anime writes a new closing scene on the train, replacing the manga's version where both characters sleep. Two Marvel nods are written into the hero's dub dialogue, one aimed at Spider-Man and one at The Thing.
