Deku Overlay lets Blackwhip puppet a body that Gearshift's recoil has locked up, so everyone who has ever carried One For All can begin the last plan: push the Quirk directly into Tomura and attack his mind from within. Kudo moves down into the clawed hand, ready to be delivered on impact through Deku's blood and the villain's wounds, though Super Regeneration leaves a window measured in instants. Tomura, who cut off his own arm to escape the opening strike, knows something is coming and charges anyway. Smokescreen billows, and rather than hunt through it he dives for the earth and rots it, betting on the hero's need to protect what lies underneath. Deku has already prepared: Blackchains hurl the earth he undermined earlier into the sky, stripping Decay of anything to spread through. Danger Sense fires, Search locks a glowing target, and Tomura grabs Gran Torino's cape with nobody in it, a decoy trick borrowed from the Lady Nagant fight, wrapped around a Blackwhip tendril carrying Deku's blood and Kudo's vestige. Search was tracking the vestige, not the boy, which is exactly the blind spot Deku wanted. Fingers cocoon Tomura on reflex, an Air Cannon comes too late, and the fist lands in his chest. Kudo transfers himself and Gearshift, calls himself a ghost from the start, and slams into the core, destroying both in exchange for enormous damage.

Memories bleed across. Both combatants watch projections of the day Himiko and Dabi met Tomura, Shoto accepting his fire at the Sports Festival, and Spinner explaining his admiration for Stain. Yoichi confirms their minds are mixing; En warns that the blow, however heavy, has not finished the man. Deku dives again, and the vestiges gather at his fist, but this time the core rejects the transfer and throws him back. Daigoro reasons that a villain who can now steal One For All can also refuse it, and the strike was not wasted anyway: En and Smokescreen made it through, forcing Tomura to grow more fingers for defense. The extra digits are not connected to his living flesh, which is why only chest hits deliver. Another construct surfaces, a boy being walked somewhere by an older gentleman before Decay ever manifested, proof to Deku that the buried memories are within reach.

Mei's drones restore La Brava's livestream as the Coffin in the Sky reaches the shoreline and Cementoss builds cement slides to evacuate it. At Shiketsu, Eri tries to leave and is stopped by Ectoplasm, who tells her she has not stored enough Rewind to matter, and Kota takes her hand, saying watching Deku makes him want to act too. Chargebolt breaks down on the beach, terrified that worrying means he lacks faith. Hawks, awaiting treatment, thinks about how much could be done if everyone cared slightly more, and Lady Nagant tells Rock Lock that the boy pries hearts open instead of punishing them, and wears a face nobody can help rooting for. Tomura starts seeing his father screaming at him moments before he killed him, and Deku smashes through the armor for a final clean hit. The core crumbles, but Nana alone is repelled, blocked by her own weakness rather than her grandson's hatred. Izuku wakes in a white void wearing his early U.A. face, standing before the Shimura family home. A shadow of his post-war self speaks with Tomura's voice and asks what he intends to do once he opens it; he admits he does not know, then dodges a truck that shreds his backpack, learning that this abstract place can still hurt him. Nana's vestige forms, apologizes, and explains that this fragile space is her grandson's origin. As Izuku heads for the door, a projection of Stain pins him and morphs into Re-Destro and then Overhaul, each demanding a plan he does not have. He waves them off, opens the door, and falls through a void past a giant family photo and Hana's replayed words into the backyard, where Kotaro is beating a child-shaped void into the grass while Mon growls, and Nana loses her breath at the sight of her son.

Kudo sacrifices himself and Gearshift to breach Tomura's core, using a decoy vestige to misdirect Search, which begins mixing Deku and Tomura's memories together.

The second transfer is rejected, though En and Smokescreen still land; the final strike shatters the core, and Nana alone is repelled by her own guilt.

Izuku enters Tomura's consciousness, fights off visions of Stain, Re-Destro, and Overhaul, and reaches the memory of Kotaro Shimura assaulting his son the night Decay awakened.

The sixth episode of season eight adapts chapters 414 through 417, airing in Japan on November 8, 2025, and in English on November 22.

The event summary that opens the chapter run is cut, along with the hypothetical of a middle-school All Might receiving forced chocolates that illustrated transfer by force. The anime adds detail to Tomura regenerating his arm, a closeup of Blackchain digging into the earth, and a projection-style materialization for the Dabi and Himiko memory.

The evacuation is expanded: Cementoss stabilizes the Coffin after it reaches shore rather than before, builds every slide at once, guides civilians and heroes down, and Futo checks the feed on the ground. The anime also drops Tomura slicing his own torso during the first transfer attempt and his Rivet Stab during the Smokescreen transfer, reorders Nana's rejection to precede Izuku entering the vestige world, and has Mon growl rather than bark at Kotaro.
