Eraser Head's intervention leaves Deku upright again, arms restored, though the rest of him is still wrecked from the duel with Tomura. Portals opened by Kurogiri spill classmates, students from rival Hero schools, and every Pro Hero still able to stand out into the wasteland. They tell Deku they moved the instant the Police Force relayed that Eraser Head had reclaimed the Nomu, since refusing to go the distance now would make the title of Hero meaningless.

Above them, the man wearing Tomura's body marvels that his successor's frame has held together at all, and mourns Yoichi, whose vestige burned away with One For All. He announces that suffering is the engine of strength, then splits his limbs open into gray tendrils that slither across the ground. Cellophane rejects the claim aloud, arguing that his own ordinary life was reason enough to get strong and that nobody should have to earn power through misery. Two portals open at his flanks, and Endeavor and Shoto, talked back into the fight by Natsuo, land twin Flashfire Fists.

What follows is a relay. Invisible Girl splinters an incoming beam through her prism-like body, Creati and Chargebolt answer with an Electromagnetic Rail Gun round, and a rotating cast of students bat away spikes so Deku can save himself for the villain. Froppy and Tentacole ferry him closer, Present Mic routes Earphone Jack's Quirk through his directional speaker to blast the lane clear, and Ingenium hauls him through the final stretch. In the city, All Might reunites with Star and Stripe's pilots, who realize he quietly re-enabled the ejector seats they had disabled, and admits that the boy who once charged a Sludge Villain has been his hero ever since.

Deku drives a Final Smash through the counterattack and into the chest of his enemy. Super Regeneration cannot rescue a body this emaciated, Danger Sense drowns under too many threats at once, and the frame Deku already broke gives way. When the Nomu programming drags Kurogiri back to his master's side, Dynamight crosses from the city on Explosive Speed alone, bites down, and detonates, buying one clean opening.

Refusing to treat the villain as an incomprehensible monster, Deku names him plainly: not a demon lord, only a lonely old man. Inside the vestige realm, the last ember of Yoichi, carried there by Deku for this exact moment, meets his brother a final time. Yoichi says he failed to steer him toward anything better and that the reckoning for a lifetime of cruelty has arrived.

The remaining One For All vestiges surge in behind him with Tomura at the front, and the killing blow lands in both realms at once, erasing the vestige and the stolen body together. Deku and Tomura share a quiet void afterward, their fists gently meeting, where Tomura credits Nana with keeping his spirit intact and asks that Spinner hear his friend never stopped trying to destroy, right up to the end.

The smash tears the thunderstorm apart. Clouds split, the rain stops, and a shimmering sky opens over the wasteland as the remains of the villain scatter into specks. The war between Japan's Heroes and Villains closes out with heroism on top.

Chapters 421 through 423 supply the material, and the episode closes the Final War arc. The adaptation hands the rallying cry specifically to Grape Juice rather than leaving it to the crowd, extends Natsuo's plea until Endeavor and Shoto are shown rising, and drops the beach flashback from Deku's confession that he surrendered his Quirk.

Several attacks are reworked. The barrage blocked by Vine, Gevaudan, Sugarman, Tailman, and Long Weizi becomes a volley of projectiles rather than Rivet Stab tendrils, the rail gun round is shown outright, and Invisible Girl's redirected beam breaks apart and explodes instead of persisting into the next attack. Fresh beats include Can't Stop Twinkling shredding rubble with Navel Laser, Battle Fist and Real Steel repelling tendrils, Grape Juice pinning them with Pop Off, and Gentle raising an elastic barrier.

Other additions expand the emotional beats: the United States President issues his order from the Oval Office beneath a redesigned flag, movie characters Giulio, Anna, Katsuma, and Mahoro appear cheering, Uravity openly weeps rather than merely tearing up, and a flashback of the brothers reading Captain Hero comics follows Deku's accusation. Deku's charge deliberately echoes his debut One For All punch, thrown at a Villain Bot back in Episode 4, while Inko's run mirrors Izuku's own dash at the Sludge Villain from Episode 2. Rody appears in his original sunglasses rather than the goggles added to his later design.
