Clear skies return worldwide, though a Washington forecaster warns that the wind kicked up by Izuku's last punch is still blowing weeks later. Aid floods into Japan within days, foreign Heroes arrive to help rebuild, and Ochaco's father estimates that Quirks will compress a decade of reconstruction into a fraction of that.

At Central Hospital, Dr. Ryu Yoshida tells Katsuki and his parents that surgery could not fully restore his right arm, and suggests amputation and a prosthesis as Mirko chose. Katsuki refuses, since his Explosion Quirk works off the sweat in his palms. He wants rehab immediately, but the doctor orders rest first: without the patch-up Edgeshot performed and the CPR that followed, the heart injury would have killed him.

Izuku wakes to find All Might in the next bed, an arrangement Naomasa engineered for security. He admits the deepest ache is not his arms but Tenko Shimura, whom he could not save, and All Might counters that the absence of the crying boy at the end is proof he did. Katsuki bursts in mid-conversation and hears that One For All is gone, which will eventually leave Izuku Quirkless again. Izuku has made peace with it, but Katsuki breaks down sobbing, apologizing for years of cruelty and demanding they stay rivals. All Might calls both boys the greatest Heroes he has known and lifts an arm for a shaky fist bump.

By June, U.A. finally holds a delayed graduation. Present Mic turns the ceremony into a party, Mawata Fuwa delivers the students' farewell address, and Mirio gives a gag-free speech: Heroes only ever fight to drag a negative back to zero, and the real goal is a world with room for humor and smiles. He exits atop Bibimi's robot. Class 2-A learns Eraser Head stays on as homeroom teacher, Yuga says goodbye after choosing to leave U.A. and atone, Hitoshi joins the class, and Yuga's lasers glitch Toru's Invisibility into visibility.

Mawata briefs the second years on nationwide patrol and reconstruction duty under her lead, notes that the chaos of this period will go largely undocumented, and casually calls Eraser Head "Era-sen," revealing she was once his student and that he expelled her entire class to teach them why they wanted the job. Shoto observes that a symbol-less era of that kind is exactly what produced All For One.

After school, Shoto splits off to join his family at Toya's secure facility. Rei, Fuyumi, and Natsuo carry burn scars; Enji is bandaged head to foot, missing his right arm, and in a wheelchair. Toya can speak only minutes a day and is dying by degrees. Enji announces his retirement, admits Endeavor was burned away by his son's flames, and promises to visit every single day until the end, whatever hatred gets thrown at him. Fuyumi and Rei say the same. Shoto's parting question is what Toya's favorite food is; the rasped answer, soba, is Shoto's own. Alone afterward, Toya cries and silently apologizes.

Outside, Natsuo confirms he is severing contact with his father permanently, will marry without a ceremony, and will not introduce his fiancée. Enji accepts it and vows to spend his life atoning and shielding his children from the fallout, which Natsuo grudgingly calls the first thing about him he can admire. Shoto tells his parents not to worry, since his classmates support him now. A text from Hawks offering help reaches Enji, who smiles; Hawks then phones Yokumiru Mera and announces that he now leads the Hero Public Safety Commission.

The episode spans Chapters 424 and 425 plus most of 426, bridging the Final War arc into the Epilogue arc. It is the only installment to take its title from two chapters at once.

Adaptation changes are mostly framing. Dr. Ryu's flashback of Mirko choosing prosthetics over rehab becomes a shot of her suited up and wearing them, the vestiges smiling is cut from All Might's speech about the Quirk's mission, and Masaru and Mitsuki are shown leaving the room before appearing in the hallway. Izuku tears up alongside Katsuki here, and the tray holding Spinner's scales is dropped from his monologue.

Smaller shifts: attendance at the graduation is thinner, Yuga brandishes his cheese at the whole class rather than in Izuku's face, and Minoru lunges at the newly visible Toru before Eraser Head wrangles him instead of merely commenting. In Toya's cell, the heart monitor's beeping is absent, and his tears come earlier and run clear rather than mixed with blood.
