Buster Union

Buster Union is a squad of Pro Heroes from My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, five strong at the point it made its name. Reputation put it among the heaviest hitters working, and the hero agency behind it was built for combat rather than patrol or rescue.

Recruitment reflected that focus, with interns chosen for Quirks that translated cleanly into fighting. Members each keep an individual costume, and the team's old method of reaching a scene was a ride on four-rotor drones.

The team's strength came from stacking offense. Nearly every member possessed an unnamed blast Quirk, and firing together made the group especially destructive, which is what earned the squad its reputation as a powerful one.

Buster Union appears in the School Days Arc, fighting Garvey alongside Purple Revolution. The team returns in the Naruhata Lockdown Arc as part of Operation Anonymous, joining The Crawler and other Pro Heroes against Number 6.

Mister Blaster, also known as Sensoji, leads the team and holds the rank of Blaster Squad Captain, a promotion that came after he properly joined. Bukkomi, Boobs, Mellorine, and Tech Magic were on the roster back when Mister Blaster and Present Mic trained there, and Present Mic himself is a former member. Cangunnon served in that earlier era and was still around years later. At least two more members had joined by the time Mister Blaster took his captaincy.

Two designs carry outside references: Cangunnon nods to the Guncannon suit from the Gundam franchise, while Mellorine draws on Taro Yamamoto's Mellorine Q routine.
