Isami Academy High School

Isami Academy High School, written 勇学園高校 and read Isami Gakuen Kōkō, trains students toward hero careers. It exists outside the manga, having been created for the My Hero Academia: Training of the Dead OVA.

Where the campus actually sits is never established. It is described as sitting near U.A. High School, which points to somewhere in or around Musutafu.

Uniforms run formal. Students wear a white dress shirt with a red neckpiece, both under a navy blazer, paired with gray trousers or a gray skirt and plain brown loafers. The boys knot their ties conventionally while the girls wear bows.

The school's single appearance comes through an exchange arrangement with U.A. High School, set at some point once the U.A. Sports Festival had wrapped up.

During the visit, Isami's students joined Class 1-A for a standard training drill. Once that exercise wrapped up, the program formally concluded and the visiting students headed back to their own campus.

The academy holds a distinction in franchise history as the first hero school invented for the anime rather than adapted out of the manga. Its name means "bravery".

No teachers from Isami Academy have been identified.

Habuko Mongoose is the sole student from the school to appear in manga canon, having been introduced in Bonus Chapter 1.

The rest of the student body appears only in the Training of the Dead OVA, where they take part in the joint drill with Class 1-A.
