Seiai Academy

Seiai Academy trains and educates its students for professional hero work at the high school level. Its name carries the meaning Divine Love, and every student who appears in the series looks to be female.

The school exists only in the anime, debuting in Episode 55. It is the third and final anime-original hero school to feature in the story, arriving after Seijin High School, which itself followed Isami Academy High School.

As the Provisional Hero License Exam opened its first round, a group of Seiai students crossed paths with several members of Class 1-A from U.A. High School and decided to take them on. Saiko Intelli led the group and put her Quirk to work devising a strategy to beat them.

The plan held up early. It came apart because Momo Yaoyorozu's Creation Quirk offered far too many possibilities to model in advance, and because Kyoka Jiro, Mezo Shoji, and Tsuyu Asui acted on emotion rather than logic, adding enough uncertainty that Saiko's calculations no longer held. Momo and her friends took the exchange.

Saiko Intelli leads the group. Her IQ Quirk sharpens her cognition enormously once she has had her tea and closed her eyes, letting her process and compute large volumes of information at speed.

Her classmates go unnamed, but each is distinctly powered. One projects holograms through her eyes, which shift from black to pink while the Quirk runs, showing the places and people inside them. Another manipulates her hair in medusa fashion. A third turns her arms into tentacles, while a short student summons spikes from her body. One girl grows large claws and can push a metal bar out of her palms, and another aims and shoots with perfect accuracy through a part-slingshot glove that seems to electrify its ammunition.

Three more round out the squad. A girl with short pigtails sends freezing air out of her fingertips, relying on a mask to breathe in the chill and metal gauntlets against frostbite. The girl with pointy ears calls metal hammers from her back. The blue-haired student emits fire from her fingers, tight and hot enough to weld a door, and she guards her face and hands with a welder's mask and gloves of metal.
