Trigger Bomb

The Trigger Bombs are chemical weapons belonging to Humarise. The scientists who were made to build them logged the things as the Quirk Factor Triggering Device, while the cult prefers to call them Humanity Salvation Devices. They appear in the film My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission.

Each unit is a large dark box, and each is a weapon of mass destruction. Detonation floods an entire city with gas in short order, and the gas is Ideo Trigger, the fiercer form of Trigger. Anyone who breathes it finds their Quirk Factor greatly enhanced and their command of it gone. Death follows either from the amplified drawbacks of a Quirk running unchecked or from the wreckage that Quirk causes. The Quirkless are the only ones the gas cannot touch, and that is the entire point: Humarise treats Quirks as a disease and casts these bombs as the instrument that shields the Quirkless from it and saves humanity. Activation runs through a Control Room at the cult's main headquarters.

Humarise owns and deploys them. Building them required kidnapping scientists, Alan Kay and Eddie Soul among them, and holding their families hostage to force cooperation. The cult also reached out to dealers and traffickers in various parts of the world to secure the chemicals needed for Ideo Trigger gas in quantity.
