With the match finished, Kinoko offers Fumikage a throat lozenge for the damage her mushrooms did to his windpipe, and he refuses the pity. Itsuka walks alongside Momo as the medic bots wheel her to the nurse's office, while Hitoshi and Shota take in how badly Itsuka and Manga wrecked the training ground.

Repairs force a break. Izuku fills in his hero notebook as the two classes trade compliments about each other's power, and Ochaco points out that he has grown right alongside the classmates he keeps writing about. All Might appears behind him wanting a word, and they step somewhere quieter.

The question is whether anything strange has happened since Izuku dreamed of One For All's earlier holders. Nothing has, so All Might says he will ask Gran Torino whether Nana Shimura ever described anything comparable. He also warns Izuku to be careful against Hitoshi, who seems tied into the visions somehow. Katsuki materializes behind them and startles Izuku.

Reminding them he is inside the secret too, Katsuki asks what they were discussing. They tell him One For All activated on its own during the dream, which surprises him, and he immediately demands to know when Izuku will finally make the power his own. All Might privately wonders whether that is simply how Katsuki shows he cares.

Once the arena is fixed, the third match pits Pony, Sen, Juzo, and Tetsutetsu against Shoto, Mashirao, Mezo, and Tenya. On the way out, Fumikage tells Shoto that responsibility for representing the No. 1 and No. 2 Heroes, the men they each trained under, now rests on him.

Shoto's mind goes to a childhood training session: Enji screaming at him to stand up and quit acting weak while the boy kneels there crying and vomiting. Enji insists Shoto alone can absorb his techniques and see his ambitions through, and mentions Toya, whose firepower surpassed his father's but who inherited Rei's fragile constitution. Tenya pulls him back to the present, and his teammates marvel that Tenya spotted anything at all given how little Shoto's face moves. They notice Tenya's own excitement, which he credits to his brother's ongoing recovery, framing himself as representing Tensei the way Shoto represents Endeavor.

Tetsutetsu, loudly, tells his own team that none of them are built for tracking enemies or picking out weaknesses, so they should smash everything until the opponents turn up and fight them head on. Sen and Pony object, but Juzo observes that the approach actually suits their strengths. Shoto reaches the same conclusion from the other side, warning his team to expect a head-on brawl.

The third round of the Joint Training Battle begins, with Class 1-B's Pony, Sen, Juzo, and Tetsutetsu facing Class 1-A's Shoto, Mashirao, Mezo, and Tenya.

All Might tells Izuku he will consult Gran Torino about whether Nana Shimura ever experienced similar visions, and warns that Hitoshi may be connected to them.

Katsuki, already in on the One For All secret, learns the Quirk activated by itself during Izuku's dream and shows his own form of concern by demanding Izuku master it.

A flashback establishes that Toya's fire outstripped Endeavor's Hellflame but that he inherited Rei's weaker constitution, and that Endeavor's training of him stopped for reasons left unexplained.

Eleven pages, released October 15, 2018 in issue 46 of that year and collected in volume 22. It sits in the Joint Training arc and was adapted as Episode 95.

The cover assembles the previous round's principals and their teachers: Kinoko Komori, Fumikage Tokoyami, Momo Yaoyorozu, Itsuka Kendo, Hitoshi Shinso, Eraser Head, and Vlad King. The setting is Ground Gamma at U.A. High School, with Fukuoka appearing in flashback.

Horikoshi's author comment apologizes for the short page count. The throat lozenges Kinoko offers resemble packaging from Asadaame, a Japanese pharmaceutical company, and Horikoshi later thanked the company in the comments of Chapter 204 after receiving lozenges from them following this chapter's release.
