Summary

Harusaburo Nanboku is performing on the roof of the freshly reopened Marukane store when Present Mic calls the afternoon block finished: the evening half opens in thirty minutes with the ensemble now billed as the FeatherHATS.

Backstage, nerves catch up with Kazuho Haneyama, and Koichi Haimawari makes a tactless crack about the bobcut worn by the dance squad's president. Midnight and Present Mic let themselves in. The executives had angled for big names and landed none, Midnight mentions, then asks after Eraser Head; Aizawa would come if he could, Present Mic relays.

Aizawa is in fact walking toward the venue, hoping a villain surfaces and spares him the show. Someone screams that one has. On another street, people flee a huge, lumbering Teruo Unagisawa, who cannot steer his new bulk. Eraser Head binds him and tries Erasure, only to find it useless: the monstrous body is not a transformation, it is the only form Teruo has. Slick skin slips him free. Crying out for Pop, he cuts loose with Electric Eel, and the surge blacks out the district, rooftop show included.

Kuin Hachisuka watches from a nearby roof as Teruo drops unconscious. She weighs dosing the frightened crowd with Trigger, and the voice in her earpiece tells her not to. Knuckleduster walks up, taser knuckle going on, uses her birth name, Tamao, and says her mother is waiting.
