Summary

Team Bakugo lines up against Team Monoma. Elsewhere on the field, Team Todoroki removes the competition wholesale, shocking rivals into stillness and freezing them there, collecting headbands on the way through. When Team Midoriya and Team Todoroki collide, Fumikage sends Dark Shadow in and Momo's Creation Quirk stops it cold.

Katsuki, meanwhile, cannot land anything. Neito answers his blasts with Explosion of his own, then blocks the follow-up with Eijiro's Hardening. Katsuki works out that the Quirk on the other side is a copier, and Neito confirms it, adding that Katsuki lit this fire himself by announcing he would take first place over everyone's bodies.

Team Todoroki cannot crack the defense in front of them. With sixty seconds left, Tenya tells his teammates to hold on, fires Recipro Burst, and in a blink Shoto has the ten-million-point headband off Izuku's head.

Izuku freezes, out of ideas. Ochaco is the one who moves, driving the team forward and telling him to go take it back. As they close on the stalled Team Todoroki, Izuku commits to One For All at last. Shoto answers by lighting his left side. The two square up for the clash that decides it.

Key Events

Several teams go after Shoto's headband and get nowhere: Denki's Electrification drops them and Shoto's ice pins them in place, effectively ending their run.

Shoto's and Izuku's teams trade attempts at each other's headbands, with Izuku deliberately working Shoto's unused left side. Roughly a minute out, Tenya unveils a secret technique that lets Shoto strip the ten-million-point band.

Rather than fold, Izuku's team charges straight back at Shoto. The look on Izuku's face rattles him enough that he reaches for his fire.
