Crabtastic Rampage! turns a crab-themed convention into a hostage crisis. Fat Gum wrestles a mech loaded with innocent workers, the evidence goes up in flames, and Koichi Haimawari clings to a runaway machine with Kazuho Haneyama trapped inside it.
Fat Gum squares off against Kanidoge's Mechs down at the loading dock, but Monika Kaniyashiki stops him mid-swing: the people strapped into those machines are ordinary workers caught up in someone else's scheme. He changes tack, using raw strength and Fat Absorption to pin a mech in place while Monika cuts the restraints loose with Snip Clip. With the workers clear and safe, he rips the clamps away and leaves the machines wrecked.
The villain behind it congratulates the pair on the rescue. Naomasa Tsukauchi fires a warning shot and promises the next one lands. Monika cautions him that the man carries an acceleration Quirk granting extraordinary speed, so Naomasa orders him to get down slowly. The villain only smiles.
Unnoticed, the damaged mechs drift toward the stock of Trigger and detonate, taking every scrap of evidence with them, and the villain slips away in the confusion.
As the group picks itself up, noise erupts near the stage. Monika realises with horror that one Kanidoge mech is still loose and tearing about: the one she had been piloting. If it goes the way of the others, it will explode in the middle of a crowd. Fat Gum takes her along to deal with the runaway while Naomasa and his fellow officers pursue the speedster.
At the convention, Kazuho is stuck inside the rampaging mech, unable to escape or shut it down. Koichi tries to reach her and lands in a souvenir stand instead. Fat Gum and Kaniko arrive to find chaos and give chase, but the machine outruns them. Koichi overtakes them both with Slide and Glide, leaps aboard and holds fast using Wall Cling. He is relieved she is unhurt and, to her irritation, credits the All Might hoodie he picked up when he crashed into that stall. Kazuho tells him to quit fooling around and help, and Koichi has no idea how, which earns him the label of useless idiot.
Fat Gum and Monika free the hostage workers from the mechs without harming them, combining Fat Absorption with Snip Clip.
The damaged mechs self-destruct beside the Trigger stock, destroying the evidence and covering the villain's escape. The team splits, with the police chasing the speedster while Fat Gum and Monika go after the last uncontrolled mech, which has Kazuho trapped inside. Koichi catches the machine using Slide and Glide and hangs on with Wall Cling.
The instalment first ran under the shorter title Rampage, which was changed for the collected volume release.
