
David Matranga is an American voice actor best known for voicing Shoto Todoroki in the English dub of My Hero Academia.
Matranga plays Shoto Todoroki, one of Class 1-A's strongest students and the son of the Pro Hero Endeavor, in the English dub of My Hero Academia. Todoroki's Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk and his complicated relationship with his father drive much of his arc, and Matranga's take on the character has become one of his signature roles. The part has followed him through the show's movies and spinoff material as well.
Matranga has built a long career voicing English dubs of anime and games since the late 1990s. His other notable parts include Teru Minamoto in Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, Genjo Sanzo in the Saiyuki series, and Takumi Usui in Maid Sama. He has also played Bertholdt Hoover in the giant-Titan cast of Attack on Titan, taken on Tomoya Okazaki across the Clannad series, and more recently stepped into fighting games as Ken Masters in Street Fighter 6.
