Justin Cook

In the English dub of My Hero Academia, Cook voices Eijiro Kirishima, the Hardening-Quirk hero who fights under the alias Red Riot and serves as one of Class 1-A's most loyal, hot-blooded members. He carries the character's booming enthusiasm through the series' biggest rescue-arc moments.

Beyond acting, Cook has spent much of his career behind the scenes as a voice director and audio engineer for both Funimation and Okratron 5000. That dual role sets him apart from many of his fellow English dub performers.

Cook was born in 1982 in Austin, Texas. He has spent decades in the English-language anime dubbing industry since then, working both as a performer and behind the microphone.

Cook's acting credits stretch back to voicing Yusuke Urameshi in YuYu Hakusho, along with multiple parts across the Dragon Ball franchise. Those roles predate his casting as Red Riot in My Hero Academia.
