Tetsu Inada

Tetsu Inada voices Enji Todoroki, the Pro Hero known as Endeavor, in the Japanese version of My Hero Academia. Todoroki rises to Number One Hero after All Might's retirement, and Inada's gruff, commanding delivery carries the character through both his hero work and his more introspective moments.

Much of Endeavor's arc after becoming Number One Hero deals with atoning for how he pushed and neglected his family, particularly his son Shoto. Inada's performance shifts from a commanding public hero persona to a more reflective register as that family history comes to the surface.

Tetsu Inada is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. He has worked in the industry since the mid-1990s, building a career around gruff, authoritative character types.

Outside My Hero Academia, Inada is best known for voicing the lead character Yosuke Kadomatsu in the historical anime Zipang. That leading role stands as one of the defining credits of his career.
