Agira Ryūdōin

Agira was a big, broad figure who favoured a long coat over his shirt, dark fingerless gloves that reached up to the elbows, full-length trousers, and ordinary shinobi sandals. His white hair fell to the shoulders and split around his face much as his eldest son's did, though his own fringe sat shorter. Faint wrinkles lined his features, and across his brow ran a tattoo of three tomoe arranged in a pattern that recalled the Cursed Seal of Heaven.

Might Guy judged him a genuinely honourable man, a view borne out when Agira chose to meet Guy with pure taijutsu rather than his puppets, then asked for another bout with a contented smile. He carried that wish for a rematch to his grave. Guy, for his part, held real affection for the warrior, even addressing him fondly as "Agira-chan".

He commanded the Wooden Puppet Manipulation Technique with real skill, calling up and directing large numbers of them at once. His hand-to-hand ability was just as striking, said to draw on the martial art of kenpō, and it pressed Might Guy hard enough that the taijutsu master had to throw open no fewer than three of the Eight Gates to win. Their duel left Agira gravely hurt, and he died not long after. His sons, Jakō, Rokkaku, and Genshō, set out to avenge him, only to come to understand along the way that they had misread what their father truly believed.
