Abilities

By fusing earth and fire natures, Etoro could produce Lava Release, a bloodline power that took shape as searing, molten flame. It let him fire off blazing bullets and widening rings of fire that melted whatever they touched and whipped up firestorms from their pressure. He dabbled in genjutsu as well, pairing it with a simple clone to bait an enemy into striking first and leaving an opening for a joint counter, and Gaara rated both brothers as considerable threats.

Working within a band of terrorists that had set its sights on Gaara, Etoro and Metoro were flagged in the Bingo Book. When the Kazekage lunged with his Sand Binding Coffin, it snared only a clone masked by genjutsu, and the pair struck from above, Etoro conjuring a fiery ring for his brother's steel ball to pass through on its way toward Hakuto. Gaara's Shield of Sand, backed by his Wind Release, held the assault off. As the twins readied a second strike, Shijima arrived and scattered hōshuriken to distract them; Etoro melted the projectiles, but the compressed air packed inside them tore into him. After Gaara cut down Metoro with his Sand Sword, a grief-stricken Etoro spent the last of his chakra hurling a torrent of flame bullets, only to be seized and crushed within the Kazekage's sand.
