Garuda is a great hawk that Sasuke Uchiha summoned to replace the wings he lost, a fiercely loyal aerial companion who carries him through several major battles, from the Five Kage Summit clash with Danzo to the war against Kaguya.
Garuda looks like an ordinary hawk grown to enormous scale. His plumage is brown, deepening to darker shades across the back, wings, and tail. Dusky markings ring his eyes, and streaks of red run along the sides of his beak.
Garuda's defining trait is his steadfast loyalty to Sasuke, answering the Uchiha's call without fail whenever he is summoned into a fight.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Following his clash with Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke sought out Garuda and signed a contract with him to stand in for the wings he had lost. During the fight with Danzo Shimura, Sasuke called the hawk to keep from tumbling off the Samurai Bridge after a Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere wounded him, then leapt clear of Garuda to dodge a follow-up gust. In the anime the hawk did more, hooking one of Danzo's wind-charged shuriken with a claw and turning it back to sever the enemy's right arm, an opening Sasuke used to land a killing strike before Garuda flew off. Sasuke summoned him again during a second assault on Madara Uchiha, and later in the war Garuda caught Sasuke and Naruto as Kaguya dropped Team 7 above a river of lava. A pinpoint Rabbit Hair Needle struck the hawk's wing tenketsu and grounded his flight, but Naruto's chakra arms saved the whole team before Garuda withdrew to his own dimension.
