History
While wandering the hills, Genmai became lost, though in truth Kajika and his band had abducted him as bait to draw out Team 7, and Sasuke in particular. Kakashi Hatake came upon him under attack by a wolf and rescued him, only to be caught with the man inside a sealing technique. Once Naruto and Sasuke had beaten Kajika's group, Kakashi and Genmai broke free of the trap, and the team saw him safely back to his son.
