Harika Aburame

Fair-skinned and among the tallest in her class, Harika tops her head with a cap resembling an aviator's helmet, from which two brown pigtails poke out, and she shields her eyes behind goggles in the manner of all her clan. She dresses in brown shorts, black stockings and simple sandals, with a short brown cloak draped over her shoulder that conceals a hidden blue bag.

Harika is an inquisitive girl, quick to gossip with classmates about newcomers like Kawaki. Straightforward by nature, she will happily clap a friend on the shoulder for a job well done and just as readily swat her for a blunder. She startles easily and turns prickly when overlooked, and nothing pleases her more than praise for something she has cooked. Usually easygoing, she hides a forceful, competitive streak that can cow even the older Kawaki once her temper flares.

Like every Aburame, Harika gives her body over to the kikaichu insects and can wield the clan's Parasitic Destruction Insect techniques, deploying the swarm for surveillance and scouting, though its reach remains modest. During survival training on a remote island she uses the insects to trail Kae along a path of pastry crumbs, and she puts them to more playful use rigging effects for a festival haunted house. Away from ninjutsu she is a talented cook whose curry wins over the notoriously guarded Kawaki.
