Heiji, called Heiji of the Rain Shelter, was a shinobi of Amegakure and the right-hand man of Kandachi under Hanzō's regime. Killed within his own village, he was later raised by mistake through the Impure World Reincarnation when Kabuto was in fact hunting Hanzō.
Heiji had purple eyes and wore a dark hat, but his most striking feature was the helmet-like respirator hiding the lower half of his face, all but identical to Hanzō's own. Its upper portion carried his village's emblem, and four dents marked the section over his mouth. His costume followed Amegakure's loose, diving-suit style, with bandages wound over the blouse at his wrists and lower legs, a flak jacket swirled across the chest-plate, and standard sandals.
Heiji seems to have been a fairly reserved man, and proud enough to bristle at being controlled against his will.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Heiji served in Hanzō's regime as the right hand of Kandachi, who was himself Hanzō's right hand. He was killed somewhere inside Amegakure, and long afterward was reincarnated in error by Kabuto Yakushi, who had actually been searching for Hanzō. His one notable skill was a tag inscribed with a technique formula that produced a smokescreen, useful for covering the retreat of other reincarnated ninja though useless for saving himself.
During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kabuto counted him among his weakest pawns and threw him forward to help unseal stronger ones. Heiji laid down a smoke diversion so several reincarnated shinobi could slip away before the Fourth Division cornered and sealed him. When the Impure World Reincarnation was finally lifted, his soul returned to the afterlife. It is thought Pain most likely killed him during his lifetime, since the Akatsuki leader eliminated everyone close to Hanzō.
The name Heiji can refer to a Japanese era, peaceful times, military affairs, or an earthenware pot.
