Appearance

In life the man stood exceptionally tall and lean, his pale-blue hair splitting at the shoulders above green eyes and a wan complexion. He dressed in a blue suit beneath the dark-blue flak jacket of Takigakure, marked with his village's forehead protector. Reanimated as the Human Path, his hair took on the shared orange of the Six Paths and his body was studded with piercings, including an unusual diagonal bar through the nose that made his facial studs the only asymmetrical set among the Paths. The Rinnegan filled his eyes as a sign of Nagato's control, and thanks to his living height this corpse towered as the tallest of the six.

History

On the brink of the Second Shinobi World War, the man met Jiraiya while the Sannin was searching for the disciple foretold in prophecy. He died years afterward, and Nagato took his body to channel the Human Path's power within the Six Paths of Pain. In that role his corpse served many ends: the full set of Paths was used to topple and kill Hanzō, and when Jiraiya slipped into Amegakure to uncover the truth about Akatsuki, the Human Path helped bring about his death. The anime also has it aiding in the capture of the Six-Tails. It took part in Pain's Assault as well, and like its fellow Paths it fell to Naruto Uzumaki. His Naruto Mobile profile adds that in life he taught Takigakure's children how to survive wartime, later cutting down many Konoha ninja during the village's invasion.
