The doctor has an oval, aging face, bald on top with thick grey hair along the sides and a small toothbrush moustache. Wrinkles sit beneath his narrow eyes, and creases bracket his mouth. His usual dress is a white physician's coat pulled on atop a dark navy turtleneck and slacks, finished with a monocle set in his right eye.

Personality

Outwardly the doctor plays the part of a man devoted to Iwagakure's welfare, ready to help raise a secret army even at the cost of the Shinobi Union's peace. Unlike Onoki, he is willing to sacrifice lives to give those soldiers durable bodies, and his apparent loyalty is really a front for gathering experimental data on Kara's behalf. Within Kara he chafes at being shut out of key updates, grumbling whenever he is rebuked for prying and ordered to just get on with his work.

History

Within Kara, the doctor answered to Victor on an unauthorized bid to raise a fresh God Tree out of a splinter salvaged after the war, all while chasing his own advancement by quietly gathering White Zetsu genetic material. He offered his services to Onoki, whose scheme to swap out Iwagakure's shinobi for artificial soldiers had gone wrong, and the pair produced the Fabrications and the mindless clay Akuta, plus Ku, a Fabrication cast in the Tsuchikage's own image. His science could grow artificial humans and even a false God Tree from a fragment fused with Hashirama's cells, though his creations were cursed with unstable, fleeting lifespans.

Hunting for a remedy, he studied the artificial boy Mitsuki and decided he could craft lasting hearts by using living human hearts as raw material. Once Ku took over Iwagakure and demanded such hearts for every Fabrication, the freed Fourth Tsuchikage mounted a counterattack that saved the marked donors; a dying Ku then rounded on the doctor to seize a heart for himself. His corpse disappeared afterward, and he later resurfaced, revived and serving Victor's company outright. There he oversaw new experiments until Konohamaru and Mugino unmasked Victor's cruelty, whereupon Victor set off his own false God Tree and left the doctor behind to have his chakra drained away by it.
