History
Together with Keiri, Kanpu alerted Nonō Yakushi to the money troubles gripping the orphanage, hardships that only deepened once Kabuto arrived. He spoke up for the boy after it emerged that Kabuto's eyes needed glasses, convinced the child held real promise. Later, when Danzō came seeking a recruit for Root and threatened to strip away what little funding the home had left unless they agreed to his terms, Kanpu erupted in anger.
