Appearance

Dark eyes and lengthy brown hair marked Kohari, with a pair of strands falling on either side of her face. She fastened her forehead protector across her brow the way one wears a bandanna. Her outfit followed the usual Leaf shinobi pattern and included a flak jacket from the era of the Second Shinobi World War, though hers went without the scroll pouches, the layered jacket beneath, and the shoulder plating, giving it more of an Anbu cut.

Personality

Kohari carried the village's Will of Fire in her heart. That conviction showed most clearly in how fiercely she guarded her son, whom she would have died to keep safe.

History

The rampage of the Nine-Tails left her with a grave wound across her back. Iruka caught sight of the injury and, moved by it, longed to remain at her side as her protector. Even so, Kohari kept her worry fixed on her son's safety rather than her own suffering. After she and her husband Ikkaku both perished, their names were engraved together on Konoha's Memorial Stone.
