Mijin

Two purple lines cross Mijin's face, one sweeping over his eyes and around to the back of his skull while the second rests on his chin. He keeps his dark-toned black hair grown out long, and his eyes are a matching dark shade. The Sand emblem on his forehead protector identifies him as a shinobi of Sunagakure.

The exams reveal a compliant, team-minded streak in Mijin. When his squad's plan calls for someone to be thrown away as bait, he recoils at the notion yet ultimately falls in line with the group's decision, swallowing his dismay for the sake of the shared score.

Once the Leaf and the Sand agreed to run a joint Chunin Exams, Mijin travelled with his team to Konohagakure, where the opening stage took place. Candidates were scattered into separate rooms for the written portion, and Shikamaru Nara laid out the twist: each member answered only a single question, but a squad advanced solely if their three scores summed to precisely one hundred. As panic spread, Sajin used his Sand Characters technique to quietly tell Mijin and Mujin which item to attempt.

With the clock expired, Shikamaru sprang a further prompt, asking each team to name the member they would give up as a decoy, warning that whoever was chosen would be cut from the exam and that the pick had to be agreed on by everyone. Sajin signalled that Mijin should be the one, and though the choice stung, he reluctantly went along with it.
