Appearance

Ryuka wears red lipstick with a matching mark under each amber eye, and her purple hair sits in a messy tangle. Her forehead protector copies her father's, a happuri-style faceplate that leaves off his two upward extensions.

She dresses in a sleeveless pink kimono topped by a furry collar and the ringed Tenrō clan necklace, its cords tied off in a tassel on the left. Furry wristbands give way to wrappings running up to her elbows, and below a short violet skirt she wears dark-brown trousers trimmed with fur just under the knees, the rest bound in bandages.

Personality

By nature Ryuka is bright and full of cheer, close friends with Yomito Hirasaka and Taisa Amagiri. When a false Nine-Tails destroyed her village, her hunger for revenge on Naruto Uzumaki ran deeper than either friend's, yet she balked at her father's plan to unleash the Three-Headed Guardian Beast, unwilling to bring harm to innocent settlements. After Naruto and Konohagakure destroyed the Three-Heads, which she herself had unsealed on her father's orders while they were still under Gensui's control, she was left grateful to them. Her dream is a village where no one is chained to grudges and everyone can smile.

History

Ryuka is highly skilled in taijutsu and makes it the core of her fighting. Slight and feminine though she looks, she packs remarkable physical power, knocking foes back with heavy blows. Like her father, she can perform the Tenrō-Style Ninjutsu: Beast-Human Transformation Technique, turning into a wolf-like being with far greater speed, strength, and toughness. In that state she adds punishing kicks and punches to a spray of needles fired from her body in every direction, nearly impossible to dodge.

Confronting Naruto as an avenger for the fallen Gensui, Ryuka came to see the manipulation behind the tragedy once the Three-Headed Guardian Beast she had released was destroyed by Naruto and Konohagakure, turning her rage into thanks.
