Sentoki is a young monk training at the Fire Temple. After the Akatsuki raid razes the temple, he escapes and races to Konoha to warn the village and request aid, ending up among the temple's few surviving monks.
Sentoki keeps his head shaved, and a scar traces the left side of it just above his dark eyes. His clothing is the standard garb worn by the Fire Temple's ninja monks.
He holds genuine concern for his fellow monks and frets over their wellbeing.
When Hidan and Kakuzu of Akatsuki strike the Fire Temple, Sentoki happens to be elsewhere. He rushes back to find the building destroyed and the attackers preparing to depart with Chiriku's body. He then makes his way to Konoha to report the assault and ask for aid.
During Tsunade's briefing with the Twenty Platoons, he is present, and he tells Asuma Sarutobi how Chiriku met his end when asked. He counts among just three monks known to have survived, together with Bansai and Zenza.
