Sky Ninja Executive

The Sky Ninja Executive commands the airborne forces of the Land of the Sky during their strike on Konohagakure. Steadier and more cautious than his subordinates, he directs the assault from an aerial carrier until Konoha's counterplan turns his own fleet against him.

Personality

What little he reveals sets him apart from the rest of the Sky ranks. Where his men jeer at the sight of Konoha apparently fielding only Sai against them, he alone refuses to take the enemy lightly. Decisiveness defines him, and he wastes no time ordering his forces to press the attack the instant an opening shows.

History

Placed in charge of the many shinobi bearing down on Konoha, he shows clear command instinct and a strategist's eye, and like his troops he can refine chakra into a mist that powers flight through the Winged Mechanical Device. He first appears aboard one of the fleet's carriers at sea, giving the word to launch the raid. Warned that a Konoha infiltrator has slipped near, he sends a four-man squad after Sai, who cuts them down with ease along with every wave that follows. Once Shikamaru's scheme advances, Kakashi and Sai step out of hiding beside him, prompting the commander to break off and marshal his ships for a final air raid meant to crush all three intruders at once. That plan collapses when Shino, smuggled aboard as part of the same scheme, releases his insects to devour the carriers. Watching his men plunge into the sea and the hulls buckle around him, the executive is overwhelmed with despair before a collapsing ship kills him.
