Suika

Suika keeps his green hair short and has no eyebrows above a set of dark, heavy-lidded eyes. He wears a black sleeveless shirt with a sash at the waist, plain trousers, and sandals, topped by a high-collared, sleeveless jacket in blue and orange, with bandaging wound around his wrists and ankles.

His jōnin rank shows across several fronts. Sharp instincts let him notice a tail and set ambushes to catch trackers unprepared, and a deep chakra pool lets him chain many techniques back to back. Much like Kidōmaru, his combat centres on spiders: he summons them in swarms and bends their webbing to trap enemies or guard himself. He pairs this with a broad Fire Release arsenal, from great fireballs to a spinning flame vortex, and he can trade blows in taijutsu well enough to press specialists like Hinata Hyūga and Kiba Inuzuka.

A flat, indifferent temperament defines Suika, who shrugs at being hunted yet turns savage when cornered, ready to kill the genin on his trail. When Team Kurenai catches up, he brushes them aside and taunts Shino over his taijutsu and reliance on insects. Hinata, Kiba, and Akamaru later run him down, and he answers with a great fireball they barely dodge, then boxes them in with a crimson earth spider technique that drives them up into his webs. He binds the three in a net-shaped prison and adds a flame whirlwind, only for Shino to burst in and rescue them. Suika captures the trio again and squares off with Shino directly, but the sharpened taijutsu he had mocked overwhelms him. Knocked into his own netting, he leaves an opening for Hinata, Kiba, and Akamaru to strike, and they beat him unconscious.
