History
When Naruto and Team Guy came to the village to look into Raiga, they rescued Sukeza from a beating by Raiga's men, punishment for not working hard enough. Panicked that this outside help would only stoke Raiga's anger, Sukeza set about hurting himself so it would seem the Konoha ninja had roughed him up too. Rock Lee caught him at it and pledged to rid the village of Raiga.
