History

In the Third Great Shinobi War, Sumashi and his squad ambush Team Minato after the young shinobi cross into Iwagakure ground. He mockingly praises them for the feat, then turns on Kakashi once he and Rin Nohara have slipped free of the collapsing ground that claimed their comrade Obito Uchiha. A practitioner of Earth Release, he reaches for the Tearing Earth Turning Palm hoping to bury the squad alive.
