History

A Root shinobi thought to be powerful and skilled with a blade, Tsuchinoto receives orders from Danzo, along with nine other operatives, to kill Hiruzen and prevent his return to the office of Hokage. Under the guise of a foreign shinobi, he takes on an Anbu escorting his target, but the guard proves to be a disguised Kakashi, and the mission ends in failure. His name was revealed only in a Studio Pierrot design sheet of Root members.
