Urakaku

Urakaku wears his black hair in a traditional chonmage topknot, framed by heavy dark brows over matching eyes, with a noticeable scar riding just above his right brow. For the Kage Summit he dressed in a plain grey kimono-style outfit and wound a purple scarf around his neck, a covering that hid the lower half of his face and concealed a communicator.

Grave and dependable, Urakaku discharges whatever duty he is handed precisely and without hesitation. Kishimoto conceived him as the archetypal straitlaced figure meant to project a serious, weighty presence from the first glance, and deliberately kept his mouth perpetually hidden from view.

As a samurai it follows that Urakaku is trained in kenjutsu, and his reflexes are sharp: his hand had already found his sword hilt before Zetsu fully rose from the ground, while the assembled ninja had yet to react. When the five Kage gathered in the Land of Iron with Mifune mediating, Urakaku and Okisuke were posted to the general's protection detail, greeting Gaara's delegation and standing watch behind their leader through the Raikage's outbursts. After White Zetsu crashed the meeting, Urakaku relayed orders for the samurai to hunt the intruding Sasuke Uchiha, mobilized three platoons, and confirmed with Ao that Danzo's ability had ceased. Snared briefly by a Zetsu clone's Spore Technique and freed by Kankuro, he heard out Tobi's scheme before departing as the Allied Shinobi Forces came together.
